Award from a monthly publication
Each year, the folks at Chesapeake Bay Magazine host a voting campaign for readers, fans and the general public to rank their top picks for everything from restaurants and eats to lodgings, marinas, boatyards and Chesapeake Bay boating destinations.

This year, Haven Harbour Marina on Swan Creek took home “Best Marina for Transients” and placed runner-up for “Best Marina for Liveaboards.”

The Town of Rock Hall has been awarded much recognition, earning Best of the Bay honors for “Most Charming Chesapeake Town,” "Best Bay Town for Dogs" and "Most Bike-friendly Town" and “Best Small Museum” – being Haven Harbour’s very own Waterman’s Museum.

As for Swan Creek, the body of water on which four marinas total dot its shores placed runner-up for “Best Place to Anchor."

Thank you to all who participated in this year’s voting, as well as those who made the 2019 season one for the books. For more information on Chesapeake Bay Magazine’s Best of the Bay campaign, please visit chesapeakebaymagazine.com. All Best of the Bay winners will be announced in the publication’s December Best of the Bay issue.
